All Qualified Electrical Workers, Electronic Technicians and Elevator Constructors must be registered under the Electrical Protection Act.
All welders must have a valid Northwest Territories Welding Performance Qualification Card. It is valid for 24 months from the day issued, unless the Chief Inspector grants an extension (up to 6 more months).

There are specific requirements that must be met in order for manufacturers to register and become certified manufacturers of boiler and pressure vessel products in the Northwest Territories.
